A little of this, a lot of that

There are sometimes things which make the most happy go lucky person on the earth, or the most timid of all people feel as if they were made of playdough and somebody just put their hand inside their pericardium and make them realise that their heart bleeds.......

Its been three years ,when a group of teenagers trained by the most dangerous of the evil minds in the world came and shocked the world and killed innocent commuters , just like that...

We all are wierd, theres some genetics playing a part wherein we learn to move on if we survive no matter how difficult the situation becomes.... When I was younger I used to feel that this nature is a mean and selfish thing and it should go away through evolution but this makes us what we are...

Whenever you go to a self pity mode or feel like a victim of the world at large ; and deep inside you know, nobody else can help you.... Just feel happy to be alive, there are a thousands of reasons.... The most important being , an emotionally bonded society , bonds of survival, of the lucky ones who just cant stop living..:)

take a look at these group of individuals, a little bit of dance can trigger a lot of emotions :)
enjoy

I am sorry, Irishmen!

It was a thursday afternoon, I was in my hostel after a long and rainy day. I walked into the mess as the lunch was still being served. As soon as I reached the mess; the brightly coloured chairs do make you feel pleasant ; checked out the menu :

Brinjal aaloo it said, with somehow , a crooked j ,which looked like a pirate's wooden leg which we see so often in movies and then , a cat purred...

..... Its a really healthy cat we have in the mess, unlike the others who loiter around outside ... and boy!! it had a wicked face. The plate in my hand was still and my legs were fixed for a moment or two, till someone shooed it away.

I was just trying to imagine what would i do if i ever came face to face with a tiger, given the condition i went into looking at a cat and telling God He had given a characteristic bullying feature to the cat family , which atleast I didn't had.

And then came the life changing moment in my life, i took a serve of the brinjal-aloo(aloo= potatoees, for those who dont know)... It looked not bad ....It looked as if somebody had made mashed potatoes but added a lot of seeds and big red chillies in it,still i was :)..  let me explain my love for potatoes briefly:

As a vegetarian who hated paneer , the one and only vegetable which had never disappointed me in all these years is potatoes along with a few others ; but seriously , my love for potatoes is so much that I love to believe that somewhere I have some Irish genes inside me... So I had practically  never disliked potatoes in any form they were served to me ... and then i took a bite of the dish we know as brinjal aloo,

It was like eating a mollusc who had diarrhoea
It was as if you had a rat's intestine in lunch with undigested grains
It was like somebody puked inside the vessel in which it was made

I saw my room mate eating it happily and bombed her with atleast ten questions:

Q. What is it?
A. Brinjal aaloo..its written na..

Q. why is it white ???
A. (counter question) what else would it be?
A2. I have never eaten this vegetable this way. It used to be yellowish in my previous hostel

Q. Do you like it?
A. Uhuh..

Q. But theres nothing pleasant in it
A. Eat your Dal then

Q. Do you like potatoes?
A. yes, i do

I try eating the dish and not leaving leftovers in potato form,
feel disgusted ,
give up

Q. Do you mind if i write a blog about this dish and tell everybody how bad it was?
A, (smiling) I wont mind.

I would have taken a picture for you guys but didn't had my phone with me, but now I plan to be camera ready whenever I go to have a meal..

to let live...

http://www.thehindu.com/opinion/op-ed/article2412675.ece?homepage=true

I just came across this article published in The Hindu. And sincerely , i dont know whether I will ever be ready to form an opinion on whether there should be a right to take lives for the sake of justice or not.
I dont know why there is no consensus amongst people from all over the world for this, but capital punishment is for the rarest of the rare cases indeed and mostly it is for the humans who are uncapable of reform; still the thought , what if the person wasnt guilty or what if it was an accident or what if there was a scope of reform? makes one shudder!!

confusion! confusion!

old habits die hard, they say.But it gives me a sense of relief ; atleast they die in this phrase.

Everywhere around me , i see a lot of people, chasing their dreams. Somebody paints and makes the canvas alive; somebody else sing like the music is made for them; people dance so well ; people support Anna Hazare..... It is as if everybody is made to do something really special and original in their life....

But nobody tells them what they have to do, people just seem to have an instinct about what they are good at... There are some things which make you forget the ticking of the clock, everything else comes a step behind it..

I just felt it today,

The time stopped,
the people became nicer,
brain starting churning ( after five years or more)

and i spoke , and people listened... i argued they seemed convinced ....

And then i realise :

Damn it , they are still better than you :( :P :) ;)

confession of a " punjabi "

Oh hellow my dear fellow,

I get up in the morning, with a cheery face,
I go to a walk at an abnormal pace,
To each and everyone i wave and greet,
most of them find it wierd and some think i am sweet ;)

I live to laugh , eat and sleep,
I love my vacations on my jeep,
I love to be surrounded by thousands of people,
Chotu does my work as i like to keep it simple..

I love to speak more than anyone,
(even if i dont know the topic),(( oh heck it is fun!!,))
money is nothing a long as it keeps on coming,
It helps me woo the girl who is most stunning..

I dont look for troubles but still they find me,
and in amusing troubles do they land me,
I might aswell be the loudest of all,
If you are in trouble my friend; just gimme a call ;)

Who blames wins

We, the people of India , have solemnly resolved to be the be the biggest frauds, cheaters and sadists in the world.
We have made sure that our country is the biggest in scams in the whole world.

If i had my own school... the most important question in the paper of the social studies in my school would have been :
list the scams of India for 2010-2011 in chronological order, The child who answers atleast 10 in detail would get good marks.

Once a family went to a national park , on seeing an antelope, the five year old child asks, what animal is this, father?
A buck, replies the father.
oh so this is what the politicians pass everynight at the news!!!

In our law college i expect at the case studies , they tell us the sillest defences against scams by the Indians.

Or Maybe when a history book will be published twenty years from now, there will be a question to the students: Which of the following Prime Ministers claimed that he knew nothing that was happening under his nose , in five different scams in the late 2000??

fool for forests

When i used to crib about bad roads in India; they made it right...... but today passing through the wide highway, i see the cut trees and think , if only concrete could photosynthesise ;

what must the trees be thinking when they are being cut?

'if only they realise, that sooner or later they would themselves pay the price'

of brats and brags

If you are wondering what this blog post is about; its a story about friendship :), but its not a cheezy ooh i miss my friends ; its a super cheezy how dare you say that to MY friend !!! (ohh i hope this gets you hooked) read on to find out...

About five min ago, while browsing my facebook account, i came accross a topic thread started by one of my dentist graduation days , classmate( call her subject ; jane doe).
Lemme give you a description about our jane doe
young age in middle twenties ,caucasian;
filthy rich daddys, super female animalish brat. Peta people hate her cz she wears animal skin; even when its so out of fashion.( yeah yeah i may be getting too hot on her ; but hey its my blog and she tried to insult my MY best friend , come on be with me, did i write anything in the blog when she unsuccessfully tried making fun of me?)

Now this jane duh , is doing some post grad in dentistry only( yes offcourse based on merit as she claims ((. . . of her fathers business !! rofl)) )... and today she had the guts to tell my friend, my best friend , whos amongst the toppers of our batch that it too bad that my friend will never get a chance to do what shes doing..how will she jane doe , i ask you, will get a chance when there are people like you in the way liquidating our profession with multi - millions from daddy dearest??

Today is doctors day and i hope that after becoming a lawyer i can convince the dental/medical council guys to have a better way of selection atleast in postgraduate courses. With almost 50% caste and nri sponsership quota where will a normal middle class graduate go?

BUT the question is, i want you to tell me , what would you do , if somebody tries to make your friends sad.. please tell me , i might apply some innovative answers myself..

what happened to earth- the forbidden planet

Dear Diary,

Earth was a beautiful planet, they used to call it the Blue planet...It had diverse forms of lives....
there never was any time when the species of the planet were not evolving...The animals in there got smarter and smarter..Their average iq was 100!!! while in here we eat our extra brain...I used to think why the need but our expidition tells us all..

The people who dominated the earth for thousands of years never had artillary on their skin, They dint had claws or wings...They had two most amazing evolutionary traits:
  • The opposable thumb
  • Their Iq

It would have been a fine experience to be a homo sapein on earth well before they started developing into monsters they eventually became, and to think how blissfully ignorant they were of their end...which happened suddenly...

But the earthiens, met their end because they were too smart...they all were so intelligent that they forgot that they are lucky to be alive...and that they stopped caring , and those who cared knew the end was near. They could have possibly saved it if they would have been a bit more loud and brave.

After us, the homosapiens are the only species which had lived for so long... The earlier missions by our people to meet them were discarded only because those fellows would have tried to domesticate us. I was hoping that they would have realized it at some point but they just missed it all along.

Their zeal to outrun their competetors was even more than the zeal to survive. large brained people taught us to keep our monsters shut from the craving to be the master of all.

Now dear diary, i leave you here along with this supersonic radar. We are going home now...but if there is any human being left alive ..i wish he finds this and asks for help.
